Insect-B has 6 legs and 2 pairs of wings.
Insect-C has 6 legs and one pair of wings.
We have got all three kinds of injects and total of 18 insects.
We have a total of 118 legs and 20 pairs of wings.
How many insects do we have of each kind ?
There are 5 Insect-A, 7 Insect-B & 6 Insect-C.
Let 'A' be the number of Insect-A, 'B' be number of Insect-B and 'C' be number of Insect-C.
A+B+C = 18
8A+6B+6C = 118
2B+C = 20
Solving this, A=5, B=7, C=6
Easy Piggy Bank Math Puzzle
Dinki breaks its piggy bank and found 71 rupees in form of 20-paisa and 25-paisa.
There was total of 324 coins in his piggy bank.
Can you tell me how many number of 20-paisa and 25-paisa he got ?
20 paisa coins : 200
25 paisa coins : 124
Say he collect 20-paisa coins be A
Say he collect 25-paisa coins be B
=>number of 25-paisa coins = (324 - A).
0.20 X A + 0.25 (324 - A) = 71
=>20A + 25 (324 - A) = 7100
=>5A = 1000
=>A = 200.
Hence, number of 25-paisa coins = (324 - A) - 124.
Three alcoholic adults takilu whisku and Rumu got some liquor.
takilu gave whisku and Rumu as many liquor as they already had.
Then whisku gave takilu and Rumu as many liquor as they already had.
Finally Rumu gave whisku and takilu as many liquor as they already had.
Now each of them have 24 liquor.
How many liquor they had originally ?
takilu had 39 , whisku had 21 and Rumu had 12 liquor initially.
